COMFREY
Comfrey has been treasured for centuries for its remarkable skin-healing properties. It:
Moisturizes and soothes dry, irritated skin
Promotes rapid skin-cell regeneration and renewal
Protects against bacteria and microorganisms
Reduces inflammation and redness
Helps repair damaged tissue and keep skin healthy
Supports youthful, glowing skin and improved overall skin health
TALLOW
Tallow deeply moisturizes, repairs, and heals dry or damaged skin. It can be used as an all-over body cream, including for babies and children with eczema. It soothes eczema, rosacea-prone, and dermatitis-affected skin, while helping with psoriasis and chronic dryness.
Tallow also provides long-term anti-aging benefits, brightens the skin, and reduces pore size. With continued use, the results are cumulative — your skin becomes softer, smoother, and more radiant over time.
The suet used to make our tallow is gently rendered at low temperatures to preserve vital nutrients and enzymes. With its naturally long shelf life, no preservatives or chemicals are needed — every jar is completely pure and unadulterated.
TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL
Tea Tree Oil enhances the power of this ointment with its potent antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It:
Soothes dry, itchy, and irritated skin
Balances oily skin and unclogs pores
Promotes wound healing and reduces inflammation
Helps reduce acne, psoriasis, and eczema flare-ups
Supports recovery from bacterial and fungal skin infections
Treats minor wounds, cuts, and insect bites naturally
OLIVE OIL
Olive oil infuses this balm with additional nourishment, helping the skin retain moisture and elasticity. It:
Deeply hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier
Reduces signs of aging with antioxidants that boost collagen production
Gently dissolves impurities and cleanses the skin
Aids wound healing through anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action
SEASONAL TEXTURE & STORAGE
The consistency of pure tallow naturally changes with the seasons — firmer in winter, softer in summer — similar to coconut oil. Simply warm the tin in your hands or near gentle heat for a buttery-soft texture. If your ointment melts, allow it to cool or refrigerate briefly to harden again.
Store in a cool, dry place. Color may vary from white to yellow, depending on the tallow batch.
Note: Unscented tallow products may carry a mild natural beef scent — a sign of purity and authenticity.
Sustainability & Quality:
Every batch is handmade with care using ingredients sourced from my small organic farm in Mount Barker, Western Australia. My cows are grass-fed, never treated with antibiotics or steroids, and raised naturally for the highest quality suet and tallow.
