Farming isn't simply part of our branding — it's where Aussie Tallow began and remains at the heart of everything we do.
In 2026, founder Samantha was honoured to be shortlisted for Female Farmer of the Year at the Great Southern Farmer of the Year Awards, recognising her work in agriculture and the farm behind Aussie Tallow.

Aussie Tallow was founded by Samantha a passionate farmer and skincare enthusiast.
My journey began with a love for my cows and the beautiful, rich milk they produce.
In the early days, I began using excess milk from my Jersey herd to create handmade soaps for my family.
It was during this time that I discovered tallow — a traditional skincare ingredient rendered from suet, a natural by-product of beef production.
After reading about its benefits for the skin, particularly dry and eczema-prone skin, I decided to experiment by rendering my first batch myself.
Having experienced eczema throughout my own childhood and teenage years, I knew how difficult sensitive skin could be.
When my daughter Isabella also developed eczema, I decided to try some of that first batch of tallow on her skin.I was astounded by the improvement I saw.
I began using tallow on my own skin as well and was equally amazed by how nourished, healthy and youthful my skin looked and felt. That was the moment I realised I had discovered something special — something worth investing my time in.
I began experimenting with different formulations and refining the rendering process, making the tallow myself so I could have control over the quality of every batch.
I also began combining tallow with fresh milk from my Jersey cows to create rich, handcrafted soaps.
What started as something I made for my own family gradually grew into Aussie Tallow.
Today, our tallow comes from grass-fed steers raised on our own farm and other local farms, with a focus on ethical and sustainable farming practices.
We also continue to use fresh milk from our own Jersey cows in our handcrafted soaps, bringing ingredients from our farm directly into the products we make.
Aussie Tallow has now grown into a range of tallow-rich skincare, raw Jersey milk & tallow soaps and other naturally inspired products for adults, children and families.
Every product is developed and tested by me and my family and handcrafted using carefully selected ingredients and traditional methods, with a focus on simple, nourishing skincare.
